Opening Film

On Friday 26 September, GYFF25 opens with the Scottish Premiere of Plainclothes, the Sundance award-winning romantic thriller starring Tom Blyth and Russell Tovey.

The festival closes on Sunday 28 September with a special event screening of Sing Street – John Carney’s Dublin-set crowd pleaser with a killer 1980s soundtrack.
Scottish Premieres

The festival also boasts the Scottish Premieres of two of the year’s finest documentaries: Runa Simi and Strange Journey:The Story of Rocky Horror
Modern Classics

Modern classics, including Submarine, Lingua Franca, Fantastic Mr Fox and Train to Busan.
Queer Cinema

Sunday 28 September, GYFF will take over GFT’s Queer Cinema Sundays slot with a special screening of But I’m A Cheerleader.
