Glasgow Theatre: A Bottle of Wine & Patsy Cline, OranMor, February 20th – 23rd, 2014
“Never mind the wine, this show is better than a crate of champagne…!” 5 Stars – online theatre review.
Òran Mór is delighted to announce the return of it’s sell-out show about the life and music of singing legend Patsy Cline. After the tremendous success of the show’s first run we have brought the original team together to perform this terrific musical play for another 12 nights in February.
The show charts the fascinating, but tragically short life of Patsy Cline and includes all her best known hits such as Crazy, Sweet Dreams, After Midnight and many more. Gail Watson takes the lead role as Patsy and here’s what the critics said of her performance –
“Gail Watson sparkles every minute of the show with an amazing combination of musical and acting skills” Remotegoat.co.uk
“close your eyes and you’d believe you were listening to the real thing” The Herald
“Gail sings with breathtaking accuracy and feeling.. and has the audiences crying and cheering” The Scotsman
Written and directed by Morag Fullarton (of ‘Casablanca’ fame) and with musical arrangements by Dave Anderson, this promises to be another unmissable night, tickets are going fast so don’t miss out!
Performance Dates are February 20th – 23rd. Tickets are £18 and include a commemorative miniature bottle of wine and are available from TicketWeb or in person at Òran Mór.
I saw the show last time round and it was brilliant. Pat Byrne.
