Insomnia director Erik Skjoldbjærg returns with a tense conspiracy thriller based on true events from the burgeoning North Sea oil industry in the 1980s. Petter (Aksel Hennie) is part of an American-Norwegian team exploring the limits of human endurance in deep-sea diving. When a tragic accident results in the death of his brother, Petter’s determination to uncover the truth is the starting point for a shocking and still highly relevant tale of shady politicians and the collateral damage from the ruthless pursuit of profit. Although the trailer does not have subtitles, the screenings at GFT will have English subtitles.
