Insomnia director Erik Skjoldbjærg returns with a tense conspiracy thriller based on true events from the burgeoning North Sea oil industry in the 1980s. Petter (Aksel Hennie) is part of an American-Norwegian team exploring the limits of human endurance in deep-sea diving. When a tragic accident results in the death of his brother, Petter’s determination to uncover the truth is the starting point for a shocking and still highly relevant tale of shady politicians and the collateral damage from the ruthless pursuit of profit.
