Future Shock! The Story of 2000AD (15)

The Galaxy’s Greatest Comic gets its own fascinating documentary.
27 – 30 December, 2015
In 1977, IPC Magazines began publishing 2000AD, a compendium comic book of sci-fi stories that would come to change the face of the industry. Providing a platform for creators such as Alan Moore (Watchmen) and Grant Morrison (All-Star Superman), the comic also introduced the character of Judge Dredd and is recognised as inspirational for cult fan-favourites such as Robocop and Spaced. This documentary provides interviews with key figures behind the scenes, whilst unveiling the anarchic and unruly history of ‘The Galaxy’s Greatest Comic’.
