Folktales at GFT
19 – 22 December, 2025
From the Academy Award-nominated filmmakers Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady (Jesus Camp), Folktales is a timely and moving portrait of teenagers who choose an extraordinary “gap year” in the Arctic wilderness — learning to dog sled, navigate the wilderness, and find meaning beyond the modern world. Dropped at the edge of the world, they must rely on only themselves, one another, and a loyal pack of sled dogs as they all grow in unexpected directions.
