In her job as a ship’s mechanic, Alice is a woman in a man’s world. She takes a long-haul position aboard the Fidelio, an old freighter ship, and begins a journey of both body and soul. Discovering the recently-deceased former mechanic’s journal in her quarters, Alice is surprised to find that his desires and emotions were not so different to her own.
