Famous Faces Attending Glasgow Film Festival 2023

Highlights
Highlights include Kelly Macdonald and Monica Dolan at a special International Women’s Day premiere of Typist Artist Pirate King, double Oscar nominee Emily Watson at the UK premiere of God’s Creatures, top impressionist Alistair McGowan at the UK premiere of My Name is Alfred Hitchcock, Game of Thrones star James Cosmo at the UK premiere of his new romance My Sailor, My Love and The Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas helping to launch the new edition of a Scotland-based talent scheme.
Opening Film

Girl
The festival will open with the UK premiere of the Glasgow-shot feature film Girl, attended by director Adura Onashile and young star Le’Shantey Bonsu – the first time the festival has opened with a film shot in its home city.
