Edinburgh Film Festival 2016

Edinburgh International Film Festival is delighted to announce that, for the third consecutive year, the festival will play host to a series of outdoor screenings across Edinburgh with Film Fest in the City.
Last year we screened a series of classics old and new at St Andrew Square, including Guardians of the Galaxy, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Mean Girls and more! Check out their photo gallery from last year’s outdoor screenings.

Opening Gala – World Premiere ‘Tommy’s Honour’
Edinburgh International Film Festival is delighted to announce that enthralling drama Tommy’s Honour will open the 70th edition of the festival on Wednesday 15th June 2016.
Closing Gala – World Premiere of Remake of ‘Whisky Galore’
Edinburgh International Film Festival is delighted to announce that the much anticipated remake of the iconic Scottish comedy Whisky Galore! will close the 70th edition of the festival on Sunday 26th June 2016.
