Iconic filmmaker Brian De Palma’s work and life are explored in this lively and unexpectedly moving documentary. Having started his career in the 60s, De Palma has been behind such acclaimed and diverse films as Carrie, Blow Out, Scarface and The Untouchables. Noah Baumbach and Jake Paltrow engage in a personal and candid discussion with De Palma, touching on his remarkable experiences from his days as the bad boy of New Hollywood to his more recent years as a veteran of the industry. De Palma is a funny and incisive portrait of a truly one-of-a-kind artist.
