GFT
When Dan passes away, best friends Seph and Alex are tasked with scattering his ashes at five disparate UK locations close to his heart. With their departed friend’s amusing and frank video diary for company, the emotionally freefalling pair set off on their adventure, seeking closure not only for Dan but also for themselves. Director Chanya Button’s debut is a whip-smart female-centric take on the buddy road movie, with fantastic performances from rising British talent and a winning tragicomic script.
