“Five women, not unlike quintuplets, born from the same womb, who are very different, and yet, very much the same” are the subjects of this simple play, a collection of dramatic vignettes. Caught up in the personal and economic tides of the 1930s, the confluent lives of these women spring from the little town of Eden Creek. Della, Hattie, Doc Corey, Abby and Claire share stories of self discovery and motherhood, stories of dreams realised and deferred, stories which twist and turn much like the creek from which the town is named.
