Bleak Week at GFT: Twin Peaks S3 – Episode 8
Saturday 20 June, 2026, 9 p.m.
Twenty-five years after Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) disappeared into the Black Lodge, filmmaker David Lynch and his co-writer Mark Frost returned to the world of Twin Peaks and created one of the greatest TV comebacks the small screen has ever seen. Arguably the crowning achievement of the series was the 8th episode, also referred to as “Got a Light?” An ambitious hour of television, it drew on much of the show’s mythology to disclose nothing less than the origins of evil in the Twin Peaks universe. Ideal Bleak Week viewing, and unmissable on the big screen.
Screening as part of Bleak Week: Cinema of Despair season, presented in partnership with the American Cinematheque and Prince Charles Cinema.
