Black Narcissus at GFT
Sunday 26 November, 2023, 2pm and 5pm
Experience Powell and Pressburger’s Technicolor classic on a whole new level at our special Atmosphere screenings from New Media Scotland and Storyhouse, supported by the BFI.
A darkly grand film that won Oscars for Alfred Junge’s art direction and Jack Cardiff’s cinematography, Black Narcissus is one of the greatest achievements by two of cinema’s true visionaries. In this immersive screening, light, scent and wind will combine to create an experience that re-imagines the concept of the Atmospheric movie theatres of the 1920s and 1930s.
Screening as part of Cinemasters: Powell and Pressburger season.
