Friday 17–Saturday 18 October
Directed by BAFTA winning director and keen cyclist Michael B Clifford, this film tells the story of cycling in the land that invented the modern bicycle: its birth, decline and rebirth from Victorian origins to today. Weaving bicycle design, sport and transport through the retelling of some iconic stories, Bicycle features interviews with notable contributors Sir Dave Brailsford, Chris Boardman, Ned Boulting, Sir Chris Hoy, Tracy Moseley and many more. A humorous and warm reflection on the bicycle and its place in the British national psyche.
We are delighted that director Michael B Clifford will join us for a Q&A after the 18.00 on Fri 17 Oct.
Glasgow Film Theatre, 12 Rose Street, Glasgow, G3 6RB.
