ABOUT BEN KUNDER & “BETTER HUMAN” |
“Better Human” is Ben Kunder’s dazzling new album and confident follow-up to his 2015’s internationally acclaimed album “Golden”. This 9 song collection fearlessly explores themes like the birth of a child, the struggle for life balance and the workday reality propping up our outward facade to name a few. Teaming up with engineer/producer Aaron Goldstein at Baldwin Street Sound last fall, “Better Human” is host to several esteemed players – bassist Anna Ruddick (Randy Bachman, Bry Webb, Ben Caplan), Arkells drummer Tim Oxford, keyboardist Anthony Carone, violinist Drew Jurecka, and drummer Loel Campbell (Wintersleep), among others. With vocal assists from luminaries Oh Susanna, Jim Guthrie, Carleigh Aikins (Paper Bird/Bahamas), Sarah MacDougall and Maïa Davies, this stellar new album will now dominate the balance of Kunder’s 2018 via tour dates across Canada, Europe, and beyond. We hope to see you out on the road to celebrate this new album and it’s release into the world!
