Back to Berlin, GFT
27 – 30 December, 2018
In the summer of 2015, 11 motor bikers went on a mission to take the Maccabiah torch from Israel to the site of the infamous 1936 Berlin Olympics, for the first Jewish Olympic Games on German soil. Such an event, at a German venue, was once inconceivable. The bikers retraced the heroic journeys of the original 1930s Maccabiah riders and discovered how they or their families survived the Holocaust. This powerful documentary is narrated by Larry King and Jason Isaacs.
