Art Exhibition at The Arlington Baths Club
7 – 22 November, 2019
An exhibition of work by Arlington Baths Club’s very talented members. There’s still space for anyone in the club who’d like to exhibit, just ask for details in the poolside office.
Funds raised will go towards Restoration Fund at Arlington Baths.
Update – who’s involved
‘As you can imagine the excitement is building up and I am looking forward to meeting all the artists at the hand in dates then displaying a eclectic mix of artwork in the club’s reading room.
There are 30 talented artists exhibiting including 4 guest artists known for their ‘swim’ or ‘water’ subject matter. They are Lesley Banks, Lynn Howarth, Melanie O’Donnell and Adrian McMurchie. All those taking part are giving their time and talent to support the baths and donate their work to sell at the exhibition.
Sarah McLeod, who is the daughter of teacher, writer and west end artist Nanzie McLeod and her mother Annie Cumming is kindly donating two of her mother’s paintings in her memory, to sell at the exhibition to help with the fundraising.
All were members of the Arlington Baths Club and studied at Glasgow School of Art including the latest 4th generation of the family. ‘
