Arlington Baths Club Doors Open Days 2023

The Arlington Baths Club is the oldest member-run swimming pool in Europe. The ‘A’ listed building houses a skylit swimming pool and a magnificent Turkish Bath, Glasgow’s homage to The Alhambra. This Victorian bathing complex was constructed over several decades by eminent architects of the time, expanding and changing as the city of Glasgow grew. The club has survived since 1870 through world wars, near bankruptcies, epidemics, and the arrival of the motorway.
