What begins as a story of boy-meets-girl is brutally interrupted by a violent terror attack in Paris. David is falling in love with Lena, but when his sister is killed in the attack, his life is turned upside down. In the depth of his shock and pain, he finds himself responsible for his orphaned seven-year-old niece, Amanda.
