As part of WestFest, come along to Cottiers for a day filled with history, heritage and traditional skills. Outside, you will have the opportunity to get some hands-on experience with slating with the Scottish Traditional Skills Forum and demonstrations in sign writing and stone carving by Glasgow City College.
The theatre will be filled with a range of stalls hosted by heritage and history organisations for visitors to seek advice, to delve into Glasgow’s history and learn about how to become involved in Scotland’s heritage.
Cottiers Bar and Restaurant is a most attractive and flexible venue in Glasgow’s West End. Previously, Dowanhill Church, it is one of only three surviving Scottish churches famously decorated by Daniel Cottier, the revolutionary artist-designer when it was built in 1865.
