Mental ill-health and bigger bodies: what is the contribution of genetics? Come and chat with PhD researcher Madeleine Hayman.
Research has helped us understand the relation between mental and physical health is a complex subject. With many factors impacting people’s health, we explore if the genetics contributes to how people who experience mental ill-health store fat on their bodies. Come and chat with PhD researcher Madeleine Hayman about how genetics may play a role in both mental health and fat storage. Together we will think about things like what you know, want to know, and why empathy and understanding is key in this area of research.
