Glasgow Science Festival: The Art of Science
11 June, 2025, 6 – 8 p.m.
University of Glasgow, Advanced Research Centre, 11 Chapel Lane, G11 6EW
An adult-focused evening of fun activities, mini-talks and an exhibition to explore the connection between art and science.
Join Glasgow Science Festival for an evening at the Advanced Research Centre for activities, mini talks and an exhibition and discover the art of science. Fancy making a medieval manuscript or a colour changing collage with polarised light? How about redesigning an NHS garden or exploring the fascinating world of 3D cinema? Discover the world of freaky fungi and question gender norms. Tour cutting-edge laboratories at the ARC, or take a live virtual tour of a lab 1.1km underground. Experience museums like never before through virtual reality and even design your own exhibit. Drop into what you fancy – this is a chance for the adults to play.

This is intended for an adult audience however, as childcare may be a barrier to attendance in which case children are welcome (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). If you are interested in bringing your children to an event please look at festival activity days.
