Trades Hall, Trades House of Glasgow, 85 Glassford Street, Glasgow, G1 1UH
Located in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant City, Trades Hall is a stunningly beautiful historic venue, which creates the absolutely perfect backdrop for their Christmas market.
Trades House was established to help protect and support the crafts people of the City, so it is indeed an apt setting for our first Glasgow Christmas Market. Hosting a collection of locally hand produced Scottish wares, food and drink, there will be an exquisite range of skincare and soaps, quirky and unique metal work, engaging artefacts, gorgeous jewellery from gold, sterling silver and precious gems to clay, crochet and beads producing everyday luxuries to impressive statement pieces, distinctive homeware, fragrant candles, captivating artwork, sublime textiles used in throws, cushions, bags and more.
Come and see the artisans whose passions drive them to create merchandise to delight and enthral, using practices passed down the generations alongside modern techniques to achieve a spectacular finish, contriving gifts both stunning and unique for customers far and wide.
There will be an exciting range of food and drink, showcasing over 10 different cocktails, a chocolate and strawberry liqueur, botanical spirits, mocktails, bitters, fruit gins, vodkas and enticing rums.
Sample some extremely delightful chutneys, very delicious game, pies and ready meals, bee products for that someone special, marvellous herbs and salts, rich ground coffee beans, a wide assortment of honeys, deliciously enchanting brownies, cakes and cookies and in plenty of time for that Christmas treat – a delicious range of fresh and smoked seafood and pate for you and homemade beef jerky for your canine family.
