Situated in the former Lansdowne Church, this is a unique and lovely venue featuring stained glass windows, original church features, outdoor fire pits, and several indoor event spaces. If you’re looking for a venue that can cater to intimate and truly special events Secession is the ideal setting.
On Sunday 18th February Secession is hosting an open day to view our three beautiful event spaces between 2pm – 4pm. The day is open to all, with no need to book ahead.
Secession is a lovely, cosy space with an open fire and a distinctive 19th century apothecary bar. This is an ideal location for larger informal gatherings and parties, with an additional smaller break-out space in the Gold Room and access to the front terrace. With a capacity of 100 standing with casual seating, it can host acoustic musicians and DJs or you can simply provide a playlist and enjoy access to the sound system. This is the ideal setting to enjoy laid back informal dining. A selection of delicious sharing platters and buffet options afre available that will be the perfect accompaniment to your special event.
