Voicebeat 21st Anniversary Concert

Saturday 25 November, 2023 at 7.30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Adelaide Place, 209 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 4HZ
Voicebeat will commemorate two decades of harmony singing from around the world.
This in-person event promises to be a night to remember as Voicebeat sing songs from their many years together.
They will also be launching their third CD, featuring songs in Spanish, Swedish, German, Swahili, Georgian, Quechua, Slovak, Zulu/Xhosa, Sotho, Khoekhoe, English – and Glaswegian.
The choir is delighted to be joined on the night by two of Glasgow’s foremost vocal harmony groups, Govanhill Voices and Voicemale, who will perform songs from their unique repertoire.
Come along and immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of world music as the choir showcases a rich tapestry of traditions from different cultures and continents. From lively African rhythms to evocative Latin melodies, the programme will celebrate the diversity of unaccompanied vocal music in its many forms.
Whether you are a music lover, a friend to Voicebeat, a supporter of community arts, or simply seeking an uplifting experience, this anniversary concert is not to be missed.
