Superman: 45 Anniversary – 4k
7 – 10 April, 2023
45 years after its original release GFT is delighted to welcome Superman back to the big screen. Just before the destruction of the planet Krypton, scientist Jor-El sends his infant son Kal-El on a spaceship to Earth. Raised by kindly farmers Jonathan and Martha Kent, Clark/Superman (Christopher Reeve) discovers the source of his superhuman powers and moves to Metropolis to fight evil and the infamous Lex Luther.
Superhero Cape-Making Workshop
Saturday 8 April, 1.30pm – 3.30pm, Garnethill Multicultural Centre, Rose Street
Free entry + food and refreshments, for ages 14 and under.
To celebrate the re-release of Superman, you can make your very own superhero capes at this free workshop! Straight after our family-friendly Take 2 screening of The Prince of Egypt.
