Hamlet at Cottiers
27 – 29 March, 2023
Glasgow University Shakespeare Society
Cottiers Bar and Theatre, 93-95 Hyndland St, Glasgow G11 5PU
‘Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.’
When Hamlet sees the ghost of her dead father, she is plunged into a world of deceit, vengeance, and madness, as she pushes the bounds of morality in her quest to unearth the truth and exact revenge. But how much can Hamlet trust her family, her reality, or even herself? As Hamlet sinks deeper into “madness” and the travelling circus comes to town, the whole court is consumed by violence, deception, and tragedy.
This March, Glasgow University Shakespeare Society presents Shakespeare’s most famous work, with a twist!
