Hamish MacQueen: A personal archive – history of the SNP and the Independence movement
Maryhill Burgh Halls, 24 Gairbraid Avenue Glasgow G20 8YE
Maryhill and Springburn SNP have arranged a ‘pop-up’ exhibition featuring the leaflets, documents, photographs and various items of political memorabilia from the SNP spanning over 70 years.
The exhibits are part of a political archive gathered by Maryhill and Springburn SNP’s honorary president, Hamish MacQueen.
The event is free – Reserve a spot at EventBrite
The event is curated by local branch member and Historian Ewen Cameron. Unfortunately Hamish will be unable to attend the event but S.N.P. constituency convener and Lord Provost of Glasgow, Councillor Jacqueline McLaren will be in attendance.
Come along and see a selection of archive materials collected by Hamish MacQueen, an S.N.P. party member now in his 90’s, who has given his adult life to the cause of Independence.
