10th Anniversary Under the Skin at Glasgow Film Festival 2023
4 March 2023
Queen Margaret Union, University of Glasgow, 22 University Gardens, Glasgow G12 8QN
Glasgow Film Festival 2023 will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Jonathan Glazer’s Glasgow-filmed sci-fi thriller Under the Skin with a special event on 4 March.
Shrouded in mystery, Scarlett Johansson is a sleek alien temptress, haunting the streets of a raucous and very real Glasgow. Glazer’s Sci-fi parable addresses immigration, loneliness and the very fabric of humanity.
The screening will be accompanied with a live performance of Mica Levi’s award-winning original score by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jonathan Berman with soundscape by Sound Intermedia. Beautiful and strange, the film score creates an uncomfortable, otherworldly atmosphere, which earned Mica a BAFTA nomination and catapulted them to international fame.
Register to be placed on waiting list for ticket for this fantastic event.
