Helensburgh Library, 59 W King St, Helensburgh G84 8EB

Black Bird Singing’ is Graham’s second book. In his first, ‘Start’, published by Fledgling Press in 2018, he writes honestly about the breakdowns in his life and the torn relationships with those nearest him. But he also writes of the love he has found with his partner, Wendy. ‘Blackbird Singing’ continues his journey, revealing what has happened to him since the publication of ‘Start’.
Graham has an MBE for services to mental health, and helped to write the Scottish Mental Health (2003) Care and Treatment Act.
