A virtual celebration of Scotland’s National Bard, Robert Burns: “The Burns Supper Addressed.”
2021 marks the 220th anniversary of the first Burns Supper held and experts from University of Glasgow’s world-leading Centre for Robert Burns Studies will explore this long history of celebration. They will also consider the poet’s own lifetime conviviality and the lasting impact Burns celebration has had on Scotland and on the world.

Professor Gerard Carruthers, Co-Director of the Centre for Robert Burns Studies (CBRS)and colleagues will share their expertise and provide a lively Q&A session during which they will answer questions about Scotland’s National Bard and the Burns Supper.
