The Art and Politics of Eating
Zev Robinson’s sixth documentary on food in Scotland, The Glasgow Diet is about the evolution of food in the city over the last fifty years, reflecting issues of local food, circular economies, and sustainability.
In the documentary there are interviews with people regarding their personal stories and the social history that covers the transition from the industrial to post industrial eras, the increasing domination of supermarkets and efforts to provide local, quality alternative food systems.
