The Kingmaker, GFT
13 – 19 December, 2019
The Kingmaker examines the controversial political career of Imelda Marcos, the former first lady of the Philippines whose behind-the-scenes influence of her husband Ferdinand’s presidency rocketed her to the global political stage. Now pushing to help her son Bongbong win the vice-presidency, Imelda’s comeback story serves as a dark fairy tale in the age of fake news.
