After more than 20 years of marriage, college lecturer Maria (Chiara Mastroianni) comes clean to her husband Richard about her many affairs. Deliciously and deliberately theatrical, Christophe Honoré serves up a French farce unfolding over the course of a single snowy night. Chiara Mastroianni’s sensational performance as jaded adultress Maria saw her win the Best Performance award in Un Certain Regard at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
