Bone Idle Bros
Famous to a select few, they have been flying under the radar since 2016 providing their own brew of Americana Roots music from all the way back to right now. This has taken them from the grandest halls (Glasgow’s Panopticon / Grand ol’ Opry) to the tightest spots (no names mentioned) and they’ve never lost anyone yet.
They’ve only had the one release (Sometimes / I love the country) and that’s sold out but things are primed and stoked for some fresh product any day now.
So, throw your coat in the corner, stay a while and let the BONE IDLE BROS shake your blood a little, mibbe cry a lil beer, get right back in that circle and laugh till they kick us all out…
MADE IN SCOTLAND 2016 – AVAILABLE FOR HIRE – MORE SOON
The Starry Skies
The Starry Skies feature the voice and songs of Warren McIntyre, a Glasgow-based singer/songwriter who has danced onstage with Nina Simone and met Chuck Berry at the crossroads (when McIntyre worked as a bicycle courier). “I didn’t sell him my soul but I regretted not asking him for passes for his show that night…” The band is made up of Heather Phillips (violin/vocals), Noel O’Donnell (drums/vocals), Jonathen Lilley (bass guitar/vocals) and John Rooney (lead guitar) with occasional guest starries Chas Fraser (trumpet) Monica Queen (vocals), Johnny Smillie (guitar/vocals).
Slippery Elm
Slippery Elm, featuring Eric Lindsay and Lynnie Carson on Guitars and Vocals, bring a rough edged but sweet country folk harmony sensibility to their pared down songs of joy, loss and the pros and cons of love and life.
