Martha L. Healy, Flew the Arrow, Rosie Bans Seven Song Club
Friday 29 March, 2019
The Tron Theatre, 63 Trongate, G1 5HG
Martha L. Healy was raised on a diet of The Eagles, The Traveling Wilburys and folk heroes, The Dubliners. These were – and still are – staples of the Healy family vinyl collection. Her current album “Keep The Flame Alight” was recorded in Nashville and produced by David Spicher.
FlewTheArrow is a fast-rising contemporary folk artist from the small town of Ayr on the West Coast of Scotland. A quite simply amazing guitarist and very fine songwriter.
Rosie Bans is a far cry from the usual female, piano-pop singer-songwriters that dominate the industry today as she is bulldozing her way through the crowds, kicking and swearing and screaming to be heard.
