Bienvenue and welcome to the 26th edition of the French Film Festival UK, bringing you the creme de la creme of Francophone cinema. The festival is curated by Richard Mowe and Ilona Morison in collaboration with founding partner venue Glasgow Film Theatre. Among this year’s tantalising array are the latest features by such famed directors as Jean-Paul Rappeneau and Robert Guédiguian as well as newer talents Albert Dupontel, Pierre Schoeller, Philippe Le Guay, and Gilles Lellouche. Supported by Screen Scotland, Creative Scotland, BFI, Total, TV5, Air France, Eclair, Wallonie Bruxelles, Alliance francaise de Glasgow, Glasgow City Council and Institut francais. Vive le cinema!

Mobile Film Festival shorts

For 2018 French Film Festival UK has teamed up with the Paris-based Mobile Film Festival to present a selection of French-language contenders from this year’s crop. They all last one-minute, cover myriad subjects and themes – and were shot on mobile phones (or tablets). One title will screen before each Festival feature.
