Moon Dogs, GFT, 11 – 14 September, 2017
A stylish road trip comedy about three young adults who make the trip from Shetland to Glasgow together. Michael wants to be reunited with his girlfriend, his step-brother Thor wants to meet his estranged mother, and Irish waitress Caitlin dreams of playing at the Celtic Connections festival. With winning performances from its young stars and stunning location work making the most of the beautiful Scottish scenery, this is a warm and heartfelt debut from new talent Philip John. Moon Dogs is multi-award winning and was Bafta Scotland Nominated for Best Film and won the Best International First Feature at Galway Film Fleadh in 2016.
