Village Storytelling Festival 2017
Tue 4 July — Sat 8 July 2017
You are cordially invited to the grand opening of A long line of glitter, a new short film created and shaped by a community of LGBT 50+ people living in or around Glasgow.
The film offers the rare chance to witness the unique perspective of people who have lived through the changes we now take for granted. Criminalised because of who they loved, discriminated against openly and legally in the workplace, not allowed to be spoken about in schools. Now they’re mainly trying to get on with their lives with the freedom (although not necessarily acceptance) that 2017 gives them. And bloody well enjoy it.
Film-maker: Asten Holmes-Elliott from LUYD Filmmaking Collective
Storyteller: Lauren Bianchi
