GFT
Ben Wheatley returns with all guns blazing in a blackly comic shoot-em-up that would make John Carpenter proud. The setting is Boston in 1978 and a deserted warehouse where Provisional IRA members Frank (Michael Smiley) and Chris (Cillian Murphy) arrive to buy enough assault rifles and ammunition to start a small war. Justine (Brie Larson) has brokered the deal but everybody seems to want a piece of the action. As trigger fingers twitch, egos clash and tempers fray, all hell is about to break loose. Run for cover and savour a brilliant, bruising thrill ride.
