Sunday, October 25, 2026  •  5 p.m – 7:30 p.m.

Maryhill Burgh Halls, 24 Gairbraid Avenue, Glasgow G20 8YE

Maryhill Against Racism* in partnership with Maryhill Burgh Halls Trust are pleased to present a community showing of Everybody to The Old Oak (15+).

Screening of The Old Oak, the latest film from acclaimed director Ken Loach.

Set in a once thriving mining village in the North East of England, the film follows TJ, the landlord struggling to keep the last pub in town afloat, as the arrival of Syrian refugees stirs up old tensions and new possibilities. It’s a quietly moving story about two communities, both a bit broken, finding their way towards each other.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A.
