Glasgow Youth Film Festival 2026: Derek vs Derek
Saturday 26 September, 2026 2 p.m.
This screening will feature a pre-recorded interview with director James Dawson.
What do you do when your neighbour goes completely wild?
Award-winning director James Dawson’s new documentary is set in the rolling hills of Devon, telling the story of two neighbouring farmers who share the same name but take radically different approaches to land use.
In equal parts hilarious and moving, the film shines a light on the vital debate surrounding the future of rural Britain, encouraging conversation around how farming and nature restoration might work together.
