Planet Israel at GFT
Thursday, 18 June, 2026, 8.10 p.m.
British-American Jewish filmmaker Gillian Mosely investigates factors that have shaped Israeli public discourse surrounding the conflict in Gaza and asks more widely how moral disengagement allows atrocities to happen all over the world?
This screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Gillian Mosely and Dr Philippa Whitford, Former MP and Breast Surgeon who worked in Gaza in 1991 and 1992 before returning in 2016 to establish a Scotland – Gaza Breast Cancer Partnership (funded by Medical Aid for Palestinians). This helped Dr Whitford’s Gazan colleagues transform their breast cancer services — until everything was destroyed.
