Christo's Gallery hosts new exhibition

Limited edition prints of the children's classic character Miffy comes to Christo's Gallery (595 Great Western Road) next month (12 August).

Miffy, the little rabbit, is the creation of 80-year old Dutch graphic artist Dick Bruna. To mark Miffy's 50 years, a number of signed limited edition prints will be available to view and buy next month.

Miffy books have crossed into 40 different languages and sold over 85 million copies. The precise drawings use a limited colour palette of black, red, blue and green and are hand drawn to a rigid formula by creator Bruna.

Owner of Christo's gallery Louise Burns comments:

"Since we announced the exhibition It's Miffy Mania as people young and old have a real affinity with this character and we are already reserving for some collectors who have travelled the world to buy these and cant believe their luck they will be available in Glasgow. As there is only 50 produced of each image they are sought after as good investments as well as fantastic to have on your wall"
