Carpet Monkeys children's shoe shop offers a fantastic range of high quality shoes for kids aged from birth to 16 years. At Carpet Monkeys you will find some of the most popular designer brands and shoes for all occasions.

Frustrated at the lack of really nice shoe shops for children Fiona Reid, the shop owner, decided to fill a gap in the market and has been looking to places such as Italy, America and France to source her high quality, attractive footwear.
With four children of her own she never had any bother finding attractive clothes shops but "there were just no shoe shops for kids". With a background in interior design, Fiona has an eye for colour and style, which shows not only in the lovely footwear she has in stock but also in the very attractive decor at Carpet Monkeys. The last time I passed there were some fantastic Christmas displays about to go into the window.
The shop looks great and the shoes are displayed to great advantage but that's not all. There is a really friendly atmosphere and nice comfy seating and even a toy box so if you have more than one little 'un then they can occupy themselves while you have a browse around. Fiona is always happy to provide advice and help you find just the right size and style that you are looking for.
I absolutely love the bright red boots and the little girls' pink strappy shoes. There are also some lovely bright pink wellies and very cute black and white checked boots, which would satisfy the most fashion conscious child, and their parents.
My absolute favourites were the red shoes with the flower decoration - very pretty, stylish but also soft and comfortable. Ideal for looking good and running wild.
I'll certainly be back for another browse and if I can't squeeze into anything then I'll content myself with some fleecy welly socks or some trendy Converse trainers.
Carpet Monkeys is in a very interesting and accessible location. Very convenient for Great Western Road and just round the corner from Kelvinbridge Underground. Also lots of other attractive shops nearby and some very nice coffee bars and bistros if you fancy a snack.
