The Homebird Sessions at Cottiers
The Homebird Sessions Special with Elaine Lennon, Yvonne Lyon and Adriana Spina
Award-winning Songwriter & TEDx Speaker, Elaine Lennon created the online version of THE HOMEBIRD SESSIONS Show at the start of the lockdown in 2020. Receiving high critical acclaim the Show is now a live touring event dubbed by THE HERALD as ‘A must for music fans and writers everywhere – relaxed, warming and welcoming’.
In this Special Edition of the Show, Lennon is in concert and conversation with Yvonne Lyon and Adriana Spina.
Her informal interview style creates an intimate and welcoming space for Lennon and her guests to connect with audiences as they take turns to perform acoustic versions of their songs, sharing stories behind them alongside gems of wisdom from their musical journeys (including the popular audience interactive Q&A).
The 3 artists reunite on stage for this Special Show for The Fallen Angels Club following the success of their December 2021 ‘THE HOMEBIRD SESSIONS Special for TEDx’ Talk for which they co-wrote & recorded the first collaborative release ‘THE LIGHT’ under THE HOMEBIRD SESSIONS label. This event will culminate in a special performance of this song which, on it’s release, was Acoustic Track of the Week on 5 BBC Radio stations throughout the UK. The show has a coveted SHOWCASE ARTIST slot where an aspiring or ‘new to our ears’ songwriter joins Lennon and her guests mid show to perform their original song, offering the opportunity to break down live performance barriers and shine a light on new talented songwriters of any age or background. Lennon’s ethos of nurturing and building the songwriting community in this way earned her a 2021 nomination for the UK AMA ‘Hero’ award.
