Tenet in 35 mm at GFT
Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 July, 2023
Following hugely popular Cinemasters Christopher Nolan season last summer, and as a way of preparing for his latest big screen blockbuster, Oppenheimer, GFT audiences are getting another chance to see his most recent time-bending mind-bender, Tenet, on 35mm. Originally released in August 2020 when GFT was still at reduced capacity between Covid lockdowns, it’s a film like all of Nolan’s work, that benefits from being seen on the big screen.
Armed with only one word – Tenet – and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist (John David Washington) journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time. With a stellar cast including Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh.
