Love Studio Ghibli? Don’t miss this extra rare chance to watch classic 1982 animation The Flight of the Dragons this Saturday for our Take 2 screening. With gorgeous animation from seminal Japanese studio Topcraft, which would later evolve into Studio Ghibli, and featuring the voice of Darth Vader himself, the legendary James Earl Jones.

The realm of magic is being threatened by the realm of logic, so the green wizard, Carolinus, decides to shield it for all time. Ommadon, the evil red wizard, stands in his way. Carolinus then calls for a quest that is to be led by a man named Peter Dickinson, who is the first man of both the realms of science and magic. It is Peter’s job to defeat Ommadon.

Every child attending a Take 2 screening receives a free ticket for themselves and one free tickets for their accompanying adult. Free tickets are only issued on the day of the screening. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Additional tickets and/or tickets purchased in advance cost £6.90 each.
