How To Sing A Shanty

The Glasgow Shanty Crew and Traditional Music and Song Association (Glasgow) present a Sea Shanty Workshop as part of Glasgow Shanty Day

Friday 21 August 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Led by the male harmony group GLASGOW VOICEMALE, this is a chance to learn some rousing tunes for the sheer joy of it. Simple (optional) vocal harmonies will be taught by ear. No musical knowledge necessary. NOT JUST FOR MEN! 

This workshop will tie in with a shorter one as part of the Glasgow Shanty Day on Saturday 12th September, 1 – 2 p.m. and participants, with a concert ticket (sold separately), will be invited to sing a song in the evening concert alongside Voicemale.
