Oppenheimer 70mm at the GFT
Screening from Friday 21 July until 10 August, 2023
One of the most highly anticipated releases of the year, Oppenheimer is Christopher Nolan‘s latest epic thriller. Starring Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer and Emily Blunt as his wife, biologist and botanist Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer, the film thrusts audiences into the pulse-pounding paradox of the enigmatic man who must risk destroying the world in order to save it.
The star-studded cast also features Oscar® winner Matt Damon as General Leslie Groves Jr., director of the Manhattan Project; Robert Downey, Jr. as Lewis Strauss, a founding commissioner of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission; and Academy Award® nominee Florence Pugh as psychiatrist Jean Tatlock.
Not only is GFT welcoming Oppenheimer to our big screens, but they’re thrilled to be the only cinema in Scotland screening it in stunning 70mm!
Please note: There will be further 70mm screenings of Oppenheimer at GFT into August, with selected tickets going on sale on 24 July. Standard screenings of Oppenheimer will also go on sale very soon – keep an eye on GFT website and socials to find out when you can book!
